Team Sallee currently consists of Nate and Katelyn Sallee along with our son Truett. We are both born and raised in Ky, became Christians in the adolescent years, and also pursued academics and our respective sports (baseball and volleyball) with all of our hearts. Those passions led us to Morehead State University where we first met at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes spaghetti dinner and started our love story.
Currently, we live in the NKY/Cincinnati area. I finished grad school at Cincinnati Bible Seminary and currently work as a student minister. Katelyn is the Head Volleyball coach at Highlands High School. Even though I haven’t done a ton of it, traveling is awesome. Taking in a baseball game is one of the most relaxing activities for me. We both enjoy being an encouragement to others and mentoring teens as well as being mentored by others who are at a later stage of life.
We see the value in doing life together in community and through the online world we don’t have to live next door to interact. Feel free to share your thoughts with us as any blog should not be a one-sided conversation. Even if it’s a simple, “that’s cool” or other brief response we’d love to hear from you!
